Under each profile in the forums and other members' profiles, you'll see a karma total listed with a post total underneath.

Karma is pretty much like reputation.  It's basically a principle where a person is either rewarded or punished from Buddhism or Hinduism.

Karma is a feature in these type of forums.  You can modify people's karma by pressing the [applaud] button or the [smite] button.

In case if you don't know, [applaud] is the "rewarding" and [smite] is the "punishing".  Every time you modify one's profile's karma, you have to wait an hour before you can modify the same profile again, unless you are me or LDA.

You don't need to make posts to activate this feature, however making posts may raise your karma.

Don't flood their karma with negativity because you hate them.  Flood them if their actions are inappropriate.

pretty sure people will mostly use karma to smite people rather than applaud, that's how human works...
For now this site is only fill with good people so it's allright nobody use  the smite button, some use the applaud but as soon as we get a flamer or someone not mature enough he is gonna get smite a lot.. just saying
